Virtual Heart Live Dissection

Get your students’ pulse going with this live dissection experience. Your class will participate in interactive experiments, chat discussion, and polls, as well as observe the dissection of a real sheep heart. This program is geared toward 3-5th graders, and aligns with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).

LEGO and NASA Engineering Innovation Lab 12-1pm

Join NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center’s Digital Learning Network as we host Maia Weinstock; internationally known for her LEGO projects including Women of NASA, a LEGO Ideas-winning set that will soon be available in stores worldwide. LEGO engineering projects featured by Armstrong’s in-house female student guests will also be shared during the presentation.

Turtle Hospital Live! 1-2pm

Bring your questions and excitement as we join the Florida Turtle Hospital on a private, behind the scenes, virtual meeting. Meet the turtles, explore the facility, see life-saving employees in action, and ask our personal guide questions you may have. After the event, stay and meet some of our own turtle buddies. Meeting held at: Tooele School District Office, or for remote students, via facebook live.
